Hawks Landed: Carlie Desulme Charles 20'
Barney School of Business graduating senior, Carlie Desulme Charles, dreams of going to graduate school and pursuing a career across the pond. She remembers attending a study abroad lunch during her freshmen year, where she learned that the skills acquired as an undergraduate at UHart would prepare her to continue her studies in another country.
After completing a robust education in Finance at Barney, Carlie plans to pursuing her masters in Finance at a university in the United Kingdom, Kingston University of London. She says “as a business student, Barney equipped me with a great foundation to pursue my masters.”
According to Carlie, “I think, like everything else in life, my experience at UHart was what I made of it and I really enjoyed the professors who made the time for me outside of the classroom.” In addition to her studies, Carlie works in the Economics and Finance office in Barney as a student assistant.
When asked about her favorite thing at UHart, she says, “My favorite thing about UHart would have to be the community, my friends and the staff.”
