Changes to Open Enrollment

The annual Open Enrollment period for benefit-eligible University employees will begin on Nov. 1, 2019, and will continue through November 22, 2019.

 

New this year, open enrollment will be “passive”.  What does this mean for you?

 

  • You will not receive a package of information from HRD. 
  • You only have to fill out a form and return it to HRD if you are making a change or addition to your existing deductions.
    • Review your current benefit elections in Self-Service
    • If changes or additions are necessary, visit HRD during November to complete appropriate paperwork.
    • If no changes are necessary, you will ONLY need to confirm your elections and authorize a payroll deduction in Self Service. Instructions to follow.

 

IMPORTANT:  If you have a Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account or Dependent Care Account, you MUST complete the annual election form and submit to HRD during open enrollment.
