Staff Council Ways & Means Committee
This is an internal committee charged with reviewing the function and operation of the Staff Council, starting with the information collected during the transition from Staff Association. Committee members will meet monthly and develop recommendations for Constitution and Bylaw amendments to better facilitate the Staff Council's mission and purpose.

Staff Council Hospitality Committee
This is an internal Staff Council committee tasked with promoting Staff Council awareness during employees' onboarding process, develop and maintain a formal recognition program (Staff Spotlight) that highlights the achievements of staff members, boost staff involvement with University events, and fundraising. Meetings are monthly.

Staff Council Delegate to Faculty Senate
The Staff Council delegate to the Faculty Senate attends all Faculty Senate meetings (twice monthly during the academic year), represents staff concerns, relays SC news, and acts as the formal ambassador between the two groups. This delegate is also responsible for relaying Faculty Senate news to Staff Council members.

University of Hartford Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force
This delegate serves on the University's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force and represents Staff Council concerns, striving to promote DEI efforts on campus and beyond, in partnership with the office of Diversity and Community Engagement. The Staff Council delegate may be called upon to serve or sit in on other, similar committees.

University of Hartford Resources Priorities and Planning Committee
Formerly known as Budget Advisory Taskforce (BAT), the Resources Priorities and Planning Committee analyses strategic goals for the University and makes recommendations to the President's Office. This University committee meets as often as necessary.

University of Hartford Benefits Task Force
The University's Benefits Task Force reviews the benefits options for University employees, including but not limited to health and dental benefits, tuition remission, and life insurance. This committee typically meets monthly, and a background in benefits negotiating is helpful.
