Rebecca Townsend Presents at International Communication Conference

Hillyer College Associate Professor of Communication Rebecca Townsend recently served as a presenter at a virtual conference of the International Communication Association’s Language and Social Interaction Division. The conference theme was Communication, Connectedness, and Social Justice. Townsend served on panel discussing “How Town Meetings Balance Play and Serious in Deliberation.”

Townsend, who serves as the town moderator for Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and is a long-time supporter of public rail service, was also interviewed for an article in the Western Massachusetts Politics & Insights blog.
