New Email-based Blackboard Login Aug. 2, 2021

As of Aug. 2, 2021, Blackboard will be the latest campus application to start using email credentials to login, referred to as single sign-on (SSO). Starting Aug. 2, all Blackboard users will use the first part of their email (without @hartford.edu) as their username and their email password as their Blackboard password.

Anyone who has been using the Blackboard apps or who has bookmarked Blackboard in their browser may have to re-login using their email credentials. Anyone currently using a guest account should contact FCLD for information on how to access Blackboard after Aug. 2. If you require a password reset after Aug. 2, 2021, please go to https://hartford.edu/reset or call ITS at 860.768.4256. Until then, continue reaching out to bbsupport@hartford.edu (students) and fcld@hartford.edu (faculty and staff) for all password and account reset questions.
