Student Vaccine Reporting Reminder

August 12, 2021
Submitted By: COVID-19 Planning Group

Our primary focus is the health and safety of the campus community, while promoting an engaging, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating culture. To do this, we need everyone to upload their vaccine cards by Sunday, Aug. 15, or we will assume that you are not vaccinated. Thank you to the thousands of students who have already uploaded their information. If you have not yet done so, please read below:

If you have completed your vaccine requirement, please upload your card to the Student Health Portal.

Use your UHart email address (without the @hartford.edu) and email password.
If you have trouble signing in, contact its@hartford.edu.
Please do not contact Health Services for troubleshooting technical issues.
If you no longer have the COVID-19 Vaccination Form as an available option under Forms, then your card submission went through successfully. If there are any issues with your submission, Health Services will contact you.

If you have only completed the first dose of a two-dose sequence, and will not be completed by 8/15, please fill out this survey if you have not already done so. This will allow us to work with you on completing the vaccine sequence. We are now asking all residential students who are partially vaccinated to bring with them a pre-arrival PCR test taken within 72 hours of move-in.

The deadline for exemption requests passed on July 15.

Unless you have an approved exemption, if you do not upload your vaccine information by the start of classes or take the survey to indicate that you have begun the process, you:

Will not be allowed to access housing assignments for residential students
Will not be able to obtain a parking permit for commuter students
Will have a hold placed on your account
Will be removed from classes

Our ability to remain open last year came from your commitment to make decisions that kept our community safe. We are asking for that same commitment toward uploading your vaccination information. It is abundantly clear that a large part of our ability to stay safe and operate with minimal COVID restrictions this year will depend on our ability to make sure everyone is vaccinated. Please do your part and upload your information.

If you have any questions, please reach out to covid19@hartford.edu
