Recording your thoughts in a journal has proven to have many benefits, and can be a tool for mental and physical wellness. But how do you overcome creative barriers and make personal writing a regular practice? Engage in conversation, try your hand at responding to a writing prompt, and learn some of the ways writer and artist Shanta Lee Gander M'07 using writing to bring memories and experiences to back to life. Guided by UHart instructor Maria Johnson, this conversation among new friends will leave you feeling inspired to use writing as a force for learning and growth in your life.
