Intervene: UHart's Bystander Program

This Friday Oct. 29, 2021 at 1 pm in the Private Dining Room at Commons, UHart will run a trailing session of the university's bystander training program: Intervene.

The program is a 60-minute workshop that includes short videos portraying student bystanders successfully intervening in seven situations that college students may experience. Participants then engage in a facilitated conversation to reflect upon the attitudes and behaviors that influence the process of intervening.  

Originally created at Cornell University, the workshop is grounded in social behavior theories and public health research.
