Assistant CS Professor Timothy Becker Presents a Novel Transit Assignment Algorithm at 2021 CAMMSE Symposium

CS Professor Timothy Becker completes his CAMMSE 2020 Project 10 grant and presents the results at the 2021 CAMMSE transit mobility research symposium November 4th and 5th.  His novel K-dissimilar Path Selection algorithm approximates the lowest time cost and most unique paths for dense urban network transit assignments. Transit assignment algorithms are foundation for the analysis and planning of large urban transit systems such at CTtransit bus routes here in the Hartford area.
