Take CS 180 Introduction to Cybersecurity | Spring 2022

This course covers the fundamentals of computer, data, and network security, and introduces students to key terminologies like threats, attacks, intrusion, breaches, roles, security principles, etc. If you are considering a career in cybersecurity or want to know more about protecting systems, networks, programs, devices and data from cyber attacks, this course is for you.
 
CS 180 counts as an Information Technology Literacy course for A&S General Education.
It is also one of the first courses you will need to pursue a Cybersecurity minor.
