Doane Publishes Chapter on White Nationalism

Woody Doane, Professor of Sociology in Hillyer College, recently had his chapter, “Theorizing White Nationalism: Past, Present, and Future,” published in the book White Supremacy and the American Media (S. Nilsen and S. Turner, eds.; Routledge 2022). In the chapter, Doane argues that white nationalism is fundamental to the entire history of the United States and that the emergence of recent movements such as the Tea Party and “Trumpism” are best viewed as the current manifestation of white supremacy.
