Professor Banzhaf's Story in IEEE Life Member Newsletter

The December 2021 IEEE Life Member Newsletter features an article in the Tales from the Vault section entitled An Adventure at Sea by Walter (Wally) Banzhaf, Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering Technology, Ward College of Technology (now CETA). In the article Professor Banzhaf describes a research cruise he took while working for NUSC in New London prior to joining the Ward Faculty where, in a winter North Atlantic gale, the vessel sunk and he and the others spent over a day in a life raft in rough seas,
