Umbrellas for Peace

For the first time in three years, Women for Change is bringing back a well-known event IN PERSON to campus—Umbrellas for Peace. As an instrument of protection, we will be painting umbrellas with symbols of peace. These umbrellas will be used during “Take Back the Night” on April 7, an internationally held march protesting sexual violence.

Please join us on Friday, April 1 from noon - 2 p.m. in East Hall Room 205. If it’s nice, we’ll be painting outside. We will provide umbrellas, paint, and brushes. We suggest you wear paint clothes as the paint won’t wash out. Join us.
