Student Conduct and Expectation Reminders

April 21, 2022
Submitted By: Dean of Students Office

Dear Students,

We remind you at this time:

1. Regardless of age, students cannot be holding/drinking from opened alcohol containers while outdoors. Such use/possession of open alcohol containers outdoors does not align with state liquor laws nor the University of Hartford Alcohol Policy.
2. Regardless of age, drinking games are not permitted on campus (indoors or outdoors) per the University of Hartford Alcohol policy. Such games present increased safety risks due to increased rates of alcohol consumption.
3. Federal laws still consider the possession and sale of marijuana illegal. In addition, both state and federal law prohibits the use of marijuana on University property. The University of Hartford Controlled Substance Policy (Drug Policy) prohibits marijuana use/possession on campus.

Thank you,

Aaron Issacs
