Volunteer Opportunity for This Summer

Advocacy to Legacy is a small Hartford organization that uplifts seniors in high school, and allows them to learn event planning, asset mapping, and partners with the city of Hartford to push educational events about tobacco and healthy living. They have already aided the passing of the Crown Act and other discrimination based laws, and are moving forward to try to discourage the use of menthol and tobacco products in younger teens. 

This June, they are looking for some volunteers to help fold tables and collect chairs for a short event on June 25 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. This event will have free food and drink, as well as a live DJ, DMV registration truck, and vaccine tent.
