Declare a Minor Using Self-Service

Students are now able to declare a minor using their Self-Service account! Paper forms are no longer needed to declare a minor, however, a paper form is still required to request a change in major by using the Change in Curriculum form.  If you are interested in adding a minor, it is best that you have a conversation with your advisor to ensure it works best for your program. 

 Steps for requesting a minor

  • Login to Self-Service
  • Select “Student” tab
  • Click on “Student Academic Records”
  • Click on “Declare a Minor”
  • Complete the form, it will be forwarded for processing
