Hartford Business Journal Features University Entrepreneur Programs

The University of Hartford’s entrepreneurship programs were highlighted in a recent Hartford Business Journal article about entrepreneurial offerings at local colleges.

Stephen Mulready, dean of UHart’s Barney School of Business, noted that alumni have helped make the programs what they are today. They include Frank Finelli, who majored in entrepreneurial studies at UHart and founded the famed Doughwich cookie dough ice cream sandwich, and Sam McGee, founder of Green Egg Design LLC, which produces “beer bat” drinking cups now found at stadiums across the country. 

Both alumni support UHart programs and students in various ways on and off campus.
