Overnight Host Job Application Extended Through Nov 14.

November 09, 2022
Submitted By: Nicole Vasil

Interested in getting a paid job at the university? Committed to being a model representative of the University of Hartford? The University’s Office of Admission is in need of a female and male overnight host.

An overnight host helps to provide prospective students with the optimal experience of campus life. An overnight host lives in one of our first-year neighborhoods (Poe in C Neighborhood) and hosts visiting accepted students through a “day in the life” of a UHart student. These visits entail taking guests to eat at Commons, shadow classes, and attend on-campus events. If you are considering the job, you should be willing to commit up to 5 days a week for 3 months of the school year (spring semester). The Overnight Program runs Monday – Thursday from 6 p.m. to around 12 p.m. the following day.

The benefits of the Overnight Host job include: a stipend to cover the cost of room and board for the spring semester, hourly pay for all time spent working office hours in Bates House, increased potential to get additional jobs, opportunities to meet many new people, and more!

You can find the application here. Applications will be accepted until Monday, Nov. 14, 2022. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Vasil, Assistant Director of Admission, at 860.768.4548 or by email: vasil@hartford.edu
