Economics Professor Ken Goroshko spoke with the Hartford Business Journal about the state’s financial services sector and how it’s been affected by COVID-19.
Goroshko, an instructor of economics, finance, and insurance for the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business, commented on employment of remote workers, saying on-boarding for new employees is difficult from afar. Collaborating and understanding a company’s culture is much easier at the workplace, while new graduates appreciate mentorship opportunities they can receive in person.
