Submitted By: Bo Zhang

My name is Bo Zhang, and I am a doctoral candidate in the Educational Leadership Program at the University of Hartford. I am currently conducting a dissertation study that seeks international doctoral students as research participants. This Uhart Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved qualitative study aims to gather data on how international doctoral students perceive their experiences when they seek employment in the United States.

If you or anyone in your networks meet the following criteria, I would like to invite you to participate in this study:
  • be 22 years of age or older.
  • Self-identify as an international doctoral student who recently graduated or is in your final year of a doctoral program in a higher education institution in the U.S.
  • Seeking or planning to seek employment in the U.S.
As a participant, you will be asked to complete either a face-to-face or virtual interview with me. All information gathered during the interview will be treated as completely confidential, and no identifiable information will be revealed in reports. If you are interested in participating in this study, please feel free to reach out to me via email at: bzhang@hartford.edu, or phone at 573.837.5332. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
