Wheel-Around Campus

The faculty and staff Disabilities Affinity Network at the University of Hartford has been working to advocate and address accessibility issues regarding the campus and its facilities. 

The DAN’s members had previously done a “Walk-Around Campus” complete with photos to assess and report areas of concern. We value your lived experience.

The Network is looking for volunteers who use various types of wheelchairs and knee scooters to participate in a “Wheel-Around Campus” to report on various areas of concern. The dates for this exercise are Tuesday, March 7, and Thursday, March 23, from approximately 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Please contact gaulin@hartford.edu to indicate your interest in the project.
