Due to weather, the University will open this morning at 11 a.m.. Classes will begin at 11:20 a.m.. All classes starting at or after 11:20 a.m. will meet as scheduled. Classes of 90 minutes or less starting before 11:20 a.m. will not meet in person. Classes longer than 90 minutes that usually start before 11:20 a.m. will meet at 11:20 a.m. if 50 or more percent of the scheduled class time remains Online and remote courses are not affected by campus closings and will meet as scheduled. Please note that when a campus closing prevents an in-person class from meeting at its scheduled time, professors may opt to conduct classes or provide assignments online. Students should check Blackboard and their email regularly on such days to learn of any alternate arrangements. More on Late Openings

New-and-Improved UHart Hub for Student Organizations

The OSEI has important updates regarding elections and transition of leadership on the UHart Hub, and training and event registration for fall!

EXTENDED DEADLINE – ELECTIONS AND TRANSITION

Student Organization Elections must be held by April 30! The deadline to register your organization via your UHart Hub page has now been extended to the last day of class, May 2. Please be sure to hold your elections and then transition your organization’s page on the UHart Hub by May 2!

EMPOWERED LEADERS – NEW PROGRAM FOR FALL 2023

We are very excited to announce a new program: Empowered Leaders. All training for student organizations will now be an experience that blends virtual asynchronous training and in-person training. This experience will be managed through the UHart Hub. All new leaders will be enrolled and able to access Tier 1 training at any time. Tier one training sessions will include Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging; Event Registration and Management; Budgets and Allocations; and Marketing and Social Media. This new training platform will be released in May.

EVENT REGISTRATION – NEW PROCESS FOR FALL 2023

The Event Registration Process for all student organizations is moving to the UHart Hub. We will use ONE system to manage your events. Students Organizations will no longer be required to use 25Live. Yes, you read that correctly! Student Organizations will no longer use 25Live. This is effective starting May 3, after the last day of class. All Fall 2023 and future planning will be in our new system. This new event registration system will be released in May!

We are thrilled to roll out these new, efficient, one-stop-shop systems in the UHart Hub!
