Reminders:

We’re looking forward to you joining us at the upcoming staff council meeting. Please note, participants are required to register in order to attend, but it can be right before the meeting starts.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation with a calendar invite via email. Below you can find additional meeting information and some tips for ensuring the meeting runs smoothly and professionally.

Meeting Etiquette:

Once you are in the meeting, please abide by the following technical and meeting professional etiquette guidelines:

  • Mute Your Microphone
    • You can do this by using the button at the bottom center that looks like a microphone. Otherwise, background noise can be heard and echoes may occur making it difficult to focus.
  • If your sound is not working for any reason, don’t panic!
    • Please just click on the navigation button (icon with three lines) in the upper left-hand corner.
    • You will then see a pull-down menu.
    • Click on “Use your phone for audio” on that menu.
  • Using the Chat Function
    • If you want to speak, please use the chat function and type your question in. The chat function is also available for simpler questions or comments that you can share throughout the meeting. (There is no need to raise your hand to use the chat function).
    • Lisa Read, Staff Council Chair, will moderate the session/chat and acknowledge you so that you can speak as we would do in a normal meeting.
