The 2023 DEIJB Pulse Faculty and Staff Survey

May 03, 2023
Submitted By: Christine Grant, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement

In March of 2023, all UHart employees were invited to participate in a survey designed to capture all voices and experiences regarding inclusion and belonging. The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, and subject matter experts from across the campus community developed the confidential online survey.

Thank you to those who took the time to participate in the completion of the 2023 DEIJB Pulse Faculty and Staff Survey. We appreciate and value your input and insights shared with us. With the closing of the survey, the incentive drawing was completed and the gift cards were distributed to the recipients, and now the responses are being analyzed. The release of a preliminary report will be shared in May 2023. As the survey results continue to be analyzed, more reports will be available to the community after summer 2023.

Moving forward, the DEIJB Pulse Faculty and Staff Survey data and the resulting analysis will help to determine what is working well, inform where progress is needed, and guide our continued efforts for tangible and specific actions along with resources as we continue to work towards creating a more respectful and inclusive campus environment for all.
