Barney Welcomes Interim Associate Dean of Administration and Accreditation
The University of Hartford's Barney School of Business is pleased to share that Dr. Andy Hao will serve as the interim associate dean of administration and accreditation through June 2024.
Dean Andy (Wei) Hao joined the Barney School of Business at UHart in 2008 and was promoted to professor in 2021. He has been very active in University service as well as service to outside professional organizations. At the University level, he has served on the Institutional Review Board, NECHE-Standard 8 Committee, Faculty Senate Student Affairs Committee, Faculty Senate Diversity Committee, University Strategic Plan Goal IV Committee, and Diversity in Curriculum Committee, among others.
At the college level, he has served as chair of Barney Promotion, Tenure and Reappointment committee and Barney Graduate Program Committee. In addition, Hao was the faculty advisor to Beta Gamma Sigma, and a member of the Barney Strategic Planning Steering Committee, and he served twice as member of the Barney Dean search committee, and twice as chair of the marketing faculty search committee.
Hao also actively serves professional organizations. He currently serves as a guest editor for two journals and as a member on three editorial boards.
