Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program
Deadline: Aug. 3, 2023
The Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program supports the research and teaching careers of talented early-career faculty in the chemical sciences at primarily undergraduate institutions. The award, which requires an institutional nomination, is based on accomplishment in scholarly research with undergraduates, as well as a compelling commitment to teaching, and provides an unrestricted research grant of $75,000.
Deadline: Aug. 9, 2023
The Small Research Grants Program supports education research projects that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived, with budgets up to $50,000 for projects ranging from one to five years. We accept applications three times per year.
Beckman Young Investigator Program
Letter of Intent DUE: Aug. 1, 2023
Deadline: Jan. 16, 2024
The Beckman Young Investigator (BYI) Program provides research support to young faculty members in the early stages of their academic careers in the chemical and life sciences, to foster the invention of methods, instruments and materials to open up new avenues of research in science. Projects are funded for a period of four years. Grants are in the range of $600,000 ($150,000 annually) over the term of the project.
Russel Sage Foundation Research Grants (Core Programs and Special Initiatives)
Letter of Intent DUE: July 26, 2023
Deadline: Nov. 9, 2023
RSF will accept letters of inquiry (LOIs) under all of its core programs and special initiatives such as: Behavioral Science and Decision Making in Context; Future of Work; Immigration and Immigrant Integration; Race, Ethnicity and Immigration; Social, Political, and Economic Inequality. Trustee Grants are generally capped at $200,000. Presidential Grants are capped at $50,000, but PIs may request up to $75,000 if the research project has special needs for gathering data.
