Fundraiser for the Adult Congenital Heart Association

According to the Centers for Disease Control, Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is the leading cause of birth-defect-associated illness and death in the newborn population and accounts for 4.2 percent of all neonatal deaths today. Throughout the years, outcomes have improved and many more children and adults are living long, happy, and productive lives. Receiving continued care from Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology teams is critical in managing and maintaining the quality of life. 

Together with the nursing faculty and students at the University of Hartford, we would like to invite you to show your support by joining our team or donating to support the efforts of the Adult Congenital Heart Association. Donations will help ongoing research, education, and outreach for the CHD community.
