Join a Faculty Learning Community Dedicated to Issues Surrounding Health Disparities
In line with the University's vision of "a strong commitment to shared community values of support and engagement in a wide variety of programs and disciplines," we are kicking off a multidisciplinary learning community/ research group for faculty who investigate issues surrounding physical and mental health disparities, and related topics. With the support of ENHP leadership, this is an informal group of scholars intended to examine topics of interest, such as housing inequities, healthcare access, food insecurity, and poorly-resourced schools, to name a few. Through conversation, collaboration, and dissemination of new discoveries, participants can engage in new research projects and implement findings to increase community engagement, improve health care quality and values, and reduce barriers to access. This is open to all faculty, from all disciplines and experience levels.
