The UHart Podcast Studio is Open Following Renovations and Upgrades
It's been a busy time in the basement of the East Wing of the Harry Jack Gray Center! Upgrades and renovations to both the STN2 television studio and the UHart podcast studio are finally complete. Come see what's new!
The Podcast Studio in room E121 now has new cameras to record video podcasts for those who want to share their conversations on YouTube, and for those who want to record audio podcasts, singing, speeches, and more, the relocated recording booth is also ready for your next session!
The studio is open to everyone on campus — all students, all faculty, and all UHart employees. We use a spreadsheet for scheduling, and dates are open through Nov. 5, with more weeks to come.
If you would like to reserve a one-hour time slot, just fill out your name, email, and how many guests will be joining you using this form. Then email Professor Dawn Ennis at daennis@hartford.edu to confirm your time and date!
Saturdays and Sundays before 2 p.m., are also available by appointment. The studio is closed on school holidays.
Again, don't forget to email daennis@hartford.edu after you select a time and date, to confirm that the studio will be available!
Faculty and students can also book a time to visit the studio and learn what we do there. We provide tours for entire classes. Some students are recording podcasts for their homework, some just for fun. Topics range from sports to studies, from personal growth to religion, and from food, music, and movies to sex!
You're under no obligation to have your podcast published on the internet, but we'll do that for you if you'd like. Or we can provide you the raw recording files and you can produce it and share it on your own platform.
We look forward to seeing you!
