Health Services Bids Farewell to Long-time Team Member and Welcomes New Members to the Team

Health Services is pleased to announce updates to its staff personnel while maintaining the same exceptional level of care and treatment that our dedicated team is known for providing to the University community.

Patty Perkins, has retired from her position as Office Coordinator after a remarkable 26-and-a-half years of dedication to Health Services. Amy Wisniewski, Program Manager/Lead APRN fondly recalls, "She was the 'go-to' for everything, and she is surely going to be missed by all. I am so thankful that we had her for as long as we did." Having initially served with ProHealth and later continuing her journey with Hartford HealthCare (2019–present), Patty's presence left an incredible mark on the University of Hartford community, shaping the institution's culture and enriching the experiences of all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. We extend our best wishes to her in her retirement. She will be greatly missed.

Simultaneously, Lorraine Daigle, with 15 years of dedicated service, has been promoted to Office Coordinator. Recognized for her longevity, familiarity, leadership skills, and unwavering dedication to Health Services operations, this promotion comes as no surprise to many. It is evident in the work she does on a day-to-day basis that she loves our students and will go above and beyond to make sure they are being cared for and supported. Congratulations Lorraine on receiving this well-deserved promotion.

Alongside these changes, Liz Enkel has joined the Health Services team as the Patient Services Coordinator. Liz returns to the UHart campus where she dedicated 18-and-a-half years of service working as the Office Coordinator in Counseling and Psychological Services. She brings a compassionate, understanding and kind-hearted approach to supporting our community members in need and will shine in this position. Welcome “home” Liz.
