UHart In the News: International Visas, Human Marks, and More

University of Hartford students, faculty, staff, and alumni frequently give their perspectives in local, regional, and national media. Here are some recent highlights:

  • A front-page article in the Hartford Courant surveyed the changed landscape for international students at Connecticut universities. “Visa appointments are few and far between,” R.J. The University continues to work with 120 additional deposited international undergraduate and graduate students that are still pursuing visa approval.
  • The Joseloff Gallery’s exhibit, Human Marks: Tattooing in Contemporary Art, was featured in Hyperallergic’s “20 Fall Art Excursions Outside New York City.” The online arts magazine boasts more than a million monthly visitors.
  • Hartt alum Jamaal Fields-Green ’18, last spotted on the UHart campus teaching dance moves while he starred in MJ: the Musical at the Bushnell, this week appeared on the podcast, Call to Stage with Amber Davies. He talked about his time at Hartt and his starring roles from Alexander Hamilton to Michael Jackson.
