A new publication has been added to Soliman's lab collection "From Trash to Treasure." The work targets the chemical recycling of plastic waste and the purification of its produced monomers, the building blocks of plastic, in one single step. The monomers were then upcycled into the co-crystallization of Isonazid, an antituberculosis drug.
This publication highlights the hard work and dedication of amazing undergraduate and high school students.
Enjoy reading the publication and come join Soliman's lab in the chemistry department and help us turn the world into a beautiful and sustainable place.
