Students from ENHP’s nursing, exercise science, and respiratory care programs recently took part in an interdisciplinary poverty simulation at Konover, gaining first-hand insight into the challenges many patients face.
Through experiences like this, students strengthen their understanding of the social factors that impact health—and learn to lead with empathy as future health care professionals.
