Barac's most recent solo exhibit, In Light of Space at the University of New Haven-Seton Gallery was created at the invitation of the University's Art and Design Department.
The show accompanies Barac's course "Patterns and Places that Connect," a Special Topics studio which introduces Ornament as activator of architecture and public space. The works explore multitudes in imperfect harmony and balance, their temporary life inspired by the structured space and beautiful natural light of the gallery. The experience changes significantly with the movement and presence of the sun.
Artist Talk-Lecture: Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m.
The exhibit is on view until Dec. 17. Gallery is open 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. during weekdays.
