Water Projects Student Poster Session

We're excited to share scenes from the poster session of our undergraduate Quantitative Analysis course at the University of Hartford! Students gave poster presentations on their water projects concerned with the analysis of the quality and ionic content of different water samples (pond, river, spring, tap, and bottled water) collected across Hartford.

Projects included:

1. ''Analysis of Hardness, Alkalinity, and Ions in Bottled Spring Water vs Bottled Purifed Water'' by Brianna Adams, Carlos Rothwell, Katie Hiraldo

2. ''What Type of Water CanSupport Aquatic Ecosystems?'' by Juliana Squillante, Madison Tierney, Quinn Miller, Kayden Joseph

3. ''Analysis of Total Alkalinity and Ionic Content in Natural and Processed Water Sources.'' by Chris Cattani, Mackenzie Hayes, Irvin Rivera

4. ''Ionic Content and Water Hardness Analysis of Varying Filter-Treated Water Sources from Connecticut and New York.'' by Jacqueline Tran, Ani Howell, Kristen Trembley.

Stay tuned for more event next year by the Chemistry Department!
