Anatomy Club Spring Seminar

The Anatomy Club is excited to host a special seminar introducing UConn’s Graduate Programs on Intraoperative Neuromonitoring and Surgical Neurophysiology. The seminar will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12 from 5 p.m.–6 p.m. in Dana Hall 232.

This seminar will provide an overview of a rapidly expanding health care field focused on protecting the nervous system during complex surgical procedures. Attendees will learn how these programs prepare students through rigorous training in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and hands-on intraoperative monitoring, leading to careers as Certified Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) professionals.

We are excited to welcome program directors Dr. Payam Andalib and Dr. Radmila Filipovic, who will be on campus to discuss program structure, career pathways, admissions, and to answer your questions.

This event is ideal for students interested in neuroscience, health sciences, clinical careers, or those considering a post-baccalaureate pivot into a high-demand specialty.

All are welcome! No prior experience required. See the flyer or webpage for more details.
