Birce Tanriguden, Music Education faculty member in the Hartt School, presented her research entitled, “The Music Mosaic Method” at the New Jersey Music Educators Association (NJMEA) meeting in Atlantic City. She also mentored two Music Education PhD candidates who presented their research at the conference, Ana Rege and Xiaoyuan Ma.
Rege Presented her research based on her dissertation work entitled, “Prismatic Pedagogy: A Multifaceted Teaching Approach Through Instrument Making.
Ma presented her research entitled, “Singing in the New Year: Teaching Traditional Chinese Music and Cultural Arts in the Elementary Music Classroom.”
