The University of Hartford Department of Nursing recently participated at the 86th Annual Meetings of the Society for Applied Anthropology held at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The sessions were co-sponderred by the Council on Nursing and Anthropology. This major interdisciplinary conference brings together scholars and practicioners, in anthropology, nursing, public health, policy and related fields. Nursing faculty members Diane Verrochi, Nanci Weinhold, and Karen Breda — along with Nursing Advisory Board member and University of Hartford alumna Daileann Hemmings — presented papers in person and virtually at the conference.
