2026–27 Davis Educational Foundation Grants Awarded

The following faculty have been awarded a grant to either create a new general education course or revise an existing course to align with the new program requirements. Each faculty member is awarded a stipend with the option of a course release instead for new course creation proposals. In addition, each awarded project received funding towards faculty development such as training, resources necessary for course creation/revision, or conference travel.

Through monthly planning meetings in the Fall and support in a faculty learning community for the following two semesters, faculty will collaborate to add new, inclusive teaching strategies grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. The Davis Grant Leadership Team members are Taylor Bellagamba, Jim Shattuck, Bryan Sinche, Cindy Thomas-Charles, and Lisa Zawilinski.
