UHart in the News: Star Power on the Court

a group of people on the basketball court

It’s not every day that a bona fide rock star heads to the UHart campus for a pick-up basketball game, but that’s just what happened Monday when singer Jelly Roll and his crew hit the hardwood at Chase Arena.

UHart’s social media team was there to capture a few Facebook and Instagram photos before the Grammy-nominated singer traveled on to East Hartford, where he opened for Post Malone that evening at Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

Our photos were picked up by NBC Connecticut, which ran the story the next morning during the Today Show’s local cut-in. The CT Post also gave it a mention in its story about the concert.
