Here’s your chance to soak up the science and technology that crack cold cases. Michelle Clark, a lead investigator on CT’s medicolegal team, will turn up the heat on three cold cases, one per session. She’ll explain: why cases stall, go cold, and later revive; what’s in today’s forensic tool kits; how DNA analysis and genetic genealogy boost results; and how legal issues impact the search for closure. Michelle Clark thinks you’ll be surprised at how little she sometimes has to work with. You’ll view the same evidence her department did and participate in finally closing the cases. Sorry, no bloodhounds admitted.
