UHart opened the doors to the Francis X. and Nancy Hursey Center for Advanced Engineering and Health Professions five years ago with a vision of bringing innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning together under one roof. Today, that vision is thriving.
The 60,000-square-foot building—a campus hub, as it is often described—was carefully planned to meet the needs of dedicated, enthusiastic students and educators today and well into the future. A half decade after opening its doors, the Hursey Center continues to fulfill the vision behind its creation, establishing itself as one of the region's premier destinations for nursing and engineering education. Thoughtfully designed to inspire collaboration and innovation, it brings together students and faculty from both ENHP and the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA) in an environment where learning extends far beyond the classroom through research, simulation, design, and discovery.
