According to Hartt’s Theatre Division director Kevin Ramsey, “it is wonderful recognition for the program and for the extraordinary work of our faculty, students, alumni, and staff, whose creativity and impact continue to shape Broadway, Hollywood, and the arts worldwide."

Ramsey also says that the division (which is also true for Hartt and the University) is “building a culture of collaboration, artistic courage, and opportunity.” The Theatre Division offers four BFA programs in Actor Training, Music Theatre, Stage Management, and Technical Theatre, and prepare students for the 21st century and the demands of an ever changing industry.
