Winter Storm Advisory

Due to an impactful winter storm expected throughout the region, the University of Hartford will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 25, and Monday, Jan. 26. This includes Harrison Libraries.

In-person Hartt School auditions that were scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, have been rescheduled.

The Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards Ceremony scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, is canceled. The exhibition at Silpe Gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24.

HLM 020

Information Literacy in the Performing Arts, HLM 020, is a zero-credit course at the University of Hartford that introduces undergraduate performing arts students to the research and evaluation techniques necessary for their coursework and future careers. It is required for all Hartt School undergraduates, and is specifically geared toward the information literacy needs of students and professionals in the fields of music, theatre, and dance.

This course covers the library catalog, various subject-specific resources/databases, and scholarly journals, as well as other information literacy concepts. HLM 020 is offered through the University's Blackboard system.
