On Thursday, March 11, 2021, the entire University of Hartford community—alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends—joined together to celebrate UHart's sixth annual Day of Giving. Starting off with an all-star virtual Kick-Off Party the night before, this was the biggest year yet with 2,201 donors supporting the #UHartCause most meaningful to them.
2,201 donors and a total of $410,417
Top Five Classes:
2021: 140 donors
2024: 95 donors
2023: 79 donors
2022: 76 donors
2019: 37 donors
39 challenges from generous alumni, parents, and friends totaling over $150,000! Highlights include:
- 300 students unlocked a $10,000 gift to support the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fund
- 350 students unlocked a $5,000 gift to the UHart Impact Fund
- 500 alumni rose to accept a $5,000 challenge from Vin Baker ’93
All-Star Kick Off Party
From Javier Colon ’00 to Phillip Boykin ‘95, to Marin Ireland ’00 and Scott Bradlee ’05, the show had something for all!
