Shared Values

At the University of Hartford, each fraternity and sorority support philanthropy efforts locally, nationally and globally.

Community Service is active participation in an event geared towards helping a community. Some simple examples would be picking up trash in a park, building a shed, or serving food at a homeless shelter. Philanthropy typically involves giving a gift or donation towards a cause that assists the chosen organization.

At the University of Hartford, each fraternity and sorority is required to complete a minimum of 15 community service hours.
