Due to weather, the University will open this morning at 11 a.m.. Classes will begin at 11:20 a.m.. All classes starting at or after 11:20 a.m. will meet as scheduled. Classes of 90 minutes or less starting before 11:20 a.m. will not meet in person. Classes longer than 90 minutes that usually start before 11:20 a.m. will meet at 11:20 a.m. if 50 or more percent of the scheduled class time remains. WHAT IT ALL MEANS. Online and remote courses are not affected by campus closings and will meet as scheduled. Please note that when a campus closing prevents an in-person class from meeting at its scheduled time, professors may opt to conduct classes or provide assignments online. At the University of Hartford, each fraternity and sorority support philanthropy efforts locally, nationally and globally.

Community Service is active participation in an event geared towards helping a community. Some simple examples would be picking up trash in a park, building a shed, or serving food at a homeless shelter. Philanthropy typically involves giving a gift or donation towards a cause that assists the chosen organization.

At the University of Hartford, each fraternity and sorority is required to complete a minimum of 15 community service hours.
