Center for Teaching Excellence & Innovation Newsletter

September 21, 2020
Submitted By: Lisa Zawilinski

A new issue of the CTEI Newsletter is now available. Click here for new issue. Highlights include a new section called "Teaching Tips in Ten." The section focuses on a single strategy or idea for teaching and includes links to additional resources should the idea/strategy interest you.

To help instructors locate resources on teaching and technologies more efficiently, FCLD and CTEI have collaborated to reorganize a bit. Both resource sites now organize support materials into four different categories:

  1. Communicating with Students;
  2. Active Learning and Student to Student Communication;
  3. Digitizing and Sharing Content; and
  4. Assessing and Evaluating Student Learning.

You can start at either site and find technologies to support each of the four categories (FCLD) or ideas for when and why those tools might be embedded within class meetings or coursework (CTEI)

Do you have a request for a Learn@Lunch session or a certain type of resource? Drop us an email, and let us know.

Reminder:

CTEI Zoom Drop-In Sessions are still occurring twice a week!  Join us to chat about what's going well and to work together to troubleshoot what might not be going as expected in your courses!
