UHart Faculty and Students Interviewed on Local Radio

Associate Professor of Architecture Ted Sawruk and five of his students joined Maria Johnson, host of the 60-minute radio program Open Studio, to discuss underrepresented in the architecture profession and at various colleges and universities. The students who participated in the interview include Jason McDonald ’21, Renee Parry ’22, Magic Santos ’19, M’21, and Aurora Perrault ’22. Sawruk and his students shared compelling stories on their perspective of being either a female and/or member of the BIPOC community inspiring to work in the architecture field. The show originally aired and streamed live at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, on 88.1 FM and wesufm.org
