Dialogue for Direction Reminder

The Dialogue for Direction Program is upon us. Dialogue for Direction forms are available online and can be downloaded (in both pdf and word documents) from the Forms page on the HRD website. 

As the original due date was Friday, May 28, 2021 and the University is now closed that day for the long holiday weekend, HRD has extended the due date for completed Dialogue forms to Friday, June 4, 2021.  

New this year, as part of PeopleAdmin (our Applicant Tracking and Employee Management system), all employees can access and view their current job description on file with HRD.  Reviewing your job description as part of the dialogue for direction process helps to formulate goals for the next year and ensure the job description on file is accurate.  If, as part of the process, the job description needs to be updated the supervisor should work with HRD to discuss any necessary changes.

In this portal, supervisors will have access to their own job descriptions as well as all employees who report to them.  Deans, Directors, Department Heads as well as Vice Presidents will have access to all employee job descriptions within their units.
