Hartford Athletics Announces Limited Return of Students for Outdoor Events

In accordance with the America East policy and CDC, State of Connecticut and local guidelines, the University of Hartford Department of Athletics will begin allowing limited spectator attendance at regular-season, on-campus outdoor athletics events beginning on April 2, 2021. 

Event attendance will be limited to Student Spectators and guests of Hartford student-athletes and coaching staffs. All attendees must be submitted in advance via a team pass list for approval. Tailgating is strictly prohibited at all contests.

The total number of Student Spectators in attendance at each athletic competition shall be limited as follows:

Fiondella Field (baseball):

 A maximum of 50 Student Spectators shall be permitted in the general standing room sections, located along the first and third base lines.

Hartford Softball Field (softball):

 A maximum of 25 Student Spectators shall be permitted in the general standing room sections, located along the first and third base lines.

Al-Marzook Field (men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, men’s soccer):

A maximum of 65 Student Spectators shall be permitted in the general standing room section, located on the opposite side of the bleachers. A maximum of 20 Student Spectators shall be permitted in the general standing room section located in a designated area on the side of the bleachers.
